As expected first stop was a traditional Sunday dinner. We met up with the whole family for a Sunday carvery at the South Causey Inn.

It was lovely. Mum has two massive Yorkshire puddings.

Second stop was Vennels in Durham for cake and tea! Carrot cake, lemon cake and chocolate cake all around. Yummy.

Lovely shop around Waterstones book shop. Found some cool dyslexia friendly books. There is a publisher that republishes we’ll know books in a dyslexia friendly fashion. Bigger letters and paragraphs spaced out better!! They have a website so will look to see what I can order off that website.

Next stop the smallest bar in the world. The Gin Bar in Durham.

Headed home. Washed the car, caught up on homework and reading and just tidied up. Before you know it another day gone by.
