Arrived in Venice and had to catch two water buses to our hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived to get the second bus from the middle of nowhere it had stopped running! o dear! we had to walk with our 11kg backpacks, over bridges and down allyways for over an hour, eventually finding our hotel after 1am. Good way to start our travelling hey?! Apart from that our hotel was gorgeous and had a great day in Venice seeing many sights such as the San Marco basillica, which is infested by pigeons. The canals and markets were beautiful though!
