25th February- So we've just arrived in Hoi an and luckily the place we'd booked had a free bus that took us to our room. It was lovely with a nice bath and balcony! Tonight we're going for dinner then drinks with Matts cabbie mate Dan. Hopefully they don't talk about being black cabbies and how much they hate Addison Lee the whole night! ;)

26th February- We got rather drunk last night after a really really nice meal in a restaurant called Morning Glory. So it was 3pm before we got up.. Opps!! We hired two bikes and weaved in and out of traffic, visiting the beach and going for lunch with a nice sunset over the rice paddies. Tonight we're meeting up with Dan, Luke and Stuart for some more Saigon beers.

27th February- Today we kind of had a spare day until a 6pm sleeper bus. After breakfast we noticed an old little Vietnamese couple in a tiny boat on the river. The boat looked like it could hardly hold my weight, so we checked for water holes at the bottom and hopped in :). They had the most adorable giggles and whilst chewing tobacco with their gums they told us they were both 70years old with 3 children. We got on the bus at 6pm and met a nice couple sitting at the back with us, who lived and owned a shop in Ibiza.
As with all the sleeper buses the drivers were mad and overtaking at every chance, so we all drank some red wine on the back 5 beds. The driver let on a local a few hours later and he sat in between us and the other pair. At about 5 in the morning Matt woke up suddenly and found the man with his hands inside our bag.. He jumped up quickly after Matt had a few words to say and ran to the front of the bus, the driver didn't let him off so he had to come back on for another hour or so. We had everything in our security belt so nothing was taken luckily, but it was not nice to think we were sleeping next to him all night!
