We have a few days in Melbourne with Chris, before he heads off to Sydney and home again. We planned to meet Dan and his girlfriend Julie for a night out with our first AFL game to start, which we'd been looking forward to :).

For anyone that's not that up with Australian sport, AFL is Australian football league and I think it's just similar to rugby except it seems that they have about 3x the people on the pitch! After the team we were supporting won, "GO COLLINWOOD!!" ..we headed off to a rooftop bar, overlooking Melbourne with a few glasses of wine. Baring... In mind we've pretty much been in shorts and T-shirts since we've left home, Melbourne and it's weather was a shock to the system and I bought a thick coat ASAP.

We've done some great bits of sightseeing over the last few days. We've been to the highest point of Melbourne, on the Eureka Tower and seen the city overall at night. Went to the City's Botanical garden and also spent time eating and drinking in places that are way over our budget as travellers.

The last day for Chris as he goes to Sydney today! We're picking up a mini campervan tomorrow to explore the Great Ocean Road in. Just packing the thick coat and wooly hat!
