There are two exciting pieces of news to update you all with. The first is that I have moved into my own room now and the second is that I have a job starting on Monday! My new house is closer to town than Kirsti's appartment and is in a big bungalow in a family-friendly suburb so it's nice and safe! So...we made it to Canberra. The eight hour journey was incredibly dull with very little in the way of varied scenery! Landing at Melbourne, we quickly picked up our bags hindered by the helpful airport staff putting all the other flight's bags on the conveyor belt before ours. The final stop in the Tassie Adventure was Launceston, Tasmania's second largest 'city'. Nowhere near as beautiful as Hobart and sadly lacking in atmosphere it was a bit disappointing. On leaving Port Arthur we hit the coast road to Coles Bay which is the portal to Freycinet National Park on the East coast, a peninsula covered in white sand coves, beautiful forest and interesting rock formations.It was beautiful.
