Howdyyyyy!
I know it's been along time. This will be an update on my last month!
Soo here it goes!

I stayed in Summer Camp for 3 weeks. When I first got there I wanted to leave. Omdaiz we lived in hogans which are like tents with no doors in the middle of a forest. The first thing we had to do was put all of our toiletries that had a scent into a ziplock bag.. Why? Because bears are attracted to smells.. Bears? Yes bears live in the forest too. We had to store all of our scented things into bear barrels on camp and any food into one of the main building. The actual camp is beautiful. A picturesque lake surrounded by acres of forest. I fell in love with the place within days. I became at one with nature and loved sleeping under the stars being woken up by the sun.

The first week was lifeguard training... I quit on the first day hahaa Had to swim 550 yards to start the course and freaked out and bailed out. Luckily they didn't let me quit and I tried again the next day and passed the prerequisites. It was an amazing week with my team and we had so much fun pretending to drown and save each other in the lake! I am now a qualified waterfront lifeguard ekk!!

The next week everyone else came over to camp and we had experiential where we pretended to be the children for 3 days! It was really cool! Eating was always interesting at camp, we learn traditional tables manors and have roles at the tables, pass things in certain ways and sing theee best songs. Literally love the camp songs. I can't even put into words the last 3 weeks at camp. I've learnt to make fires, walked to camp in the dark surrounded by fireflies, saw snakes, chipmunks, picked up spiders and played team building games to the max. I've made the best of friends and actually cried leaving them at sleep away camp, I miss them so much!! I get to see them next week and I'm going to hug them to fricken death I'm so excited!!

Being in Brooklyn is cool, I really miss camp but I'm getting use to the city life. Our house is really nice and I love my house mates to bits and my friend cooks amazingly dinners!!! The work is very hard but hopefully it gets better so we can start to explore New York more!!

We have to cycle to work everyday and I'm fricken lethal on a bike. I've crashed into a car already! The stupid man swung his car door open and I rode straight into it hahaa hilarious. That's happened twice but luckily missed me the 2nd time. I've fell into a parked car and bashed my knee in the handle bars. On Friday my handles decided to loosen and flip forward in the road hahaa these nice men fixed my bike for me.

Yesterday we went into New York! We went over Brooklyn bridge and to see the stage of Liberty. New York is really cool and I'm starting to find my way around our area in Brooklyn.

So far I'm having a lovely time but mostly because I have incredible friends!!
