Spent the day in Tikal amongst the Mayan Ruins. So beautiful and magical hidden in the Guatemalan jungle. We had a chance to club some of the ruins and trekked through the jungle for 3 1/2 hours!! My hiking boots came in handy :):)

We left Tikal and headed to Flores a lovely colanial Island in Guatemala. The houses are painted in bright colours and it is a Spanish speaking country. The evening was spent on a small wooden boat cruising around the lake and finished with a walk around the island (which took 15 mins!!) and cocktail and wedges in a bar.
