We have been travelling again! I'm now in Antigua - not Antigua Barbuda but Antigua Guatemala the town surrounded by volcanos. The journey was rubbish. 5 hours, no leg room and a stop off for lunch at the mankiest restaurant on the highway. I did not eat as I thought I'd become sick from the selection of flies with a side of pork, chicken and eggy veg! Vom. Strangely when we had dinner I went for beef lasagne. I don't really eat beef but hey it was good food. ...

Rio dulce is very calm. I just hung around the pool today and lounged around. Tomorrow I am going to visit a waterfall and then I'm coming back and hiking to a shaman tower to do some yoga. I wasn't going to do it because of money but apparently it's very peaceful so I'm going for it :):) spend spend spend! I'm loosing track of what day it is which is quite cool. Just going with the flow no care in the world. I reckon I should win the lottery and never work ag...

Leaving Flores today to head to Rio Dulce. Just in a cafe waiting for my pancakes and Nutella. Yes I am very adventurous with food hahaha. This island is magic. So tiny and pretty. There was street food last night but I wasn't trying it as I didn't know what it was - nastyyyyy. In the next town I might try a local dish if I can identify what it is!! Just a short post. Spent the day in Tikal amongst the Mayan Ruins. So beautiful and magical hidden in the Guatemalan jungle. We had a chance to club some of the ruins and trekked through the jungle for 3 1/2 hours!! My hiking boots came in handy :):) We left Tikal and headed to Flores a lovely colanial Island in Guatemala. The houses are painted in bright colours and it is a Spanish speaking country.
