Josephine Falls
Josephine Falls is a multi-layered cascade waterfall located within Wooroonooran National Park. The short trail to reach the Falls is through a serene and luscious rainforest canopy with the chirping of birds and other creatures adding to the magic. The main swimming hole is a beautiful sight as there is no competition for space. Boulders immersed in the water provide suitable resting areas or those who are more adventurous can go for a swim.
We opted to simply relax on the boulders and dip our feet into the cool, crystal clear water which was a welcome relief from the dogged heat. A tranquil feel overcame us as we quietly observed the surroundings. There were people tanning on the boulders, frolicking in the water, jumping from some height into the water, avid readers, and so forth. Needless to say, this is a spot where you can relax and have fun to your heart's desire.
