Had our morning walk. Where the Millers live is military families from everywhere; Jordon, Columbia, France, Vietnam, UK, and USA. Everyone gathers to greet as families move in. And the children all play together. Today they received new appliances; frig., microwave, freezer, washer & dryer. Hopefully all will work for the next year. Another great morning walk. A truly peaceful day. At 6 pm Sally their brutish sponsor and her twin sons; Edward & George, they brought scones, butter, jam, & curd cream. We had prepared a cheese & fruit tray.... Visited until late. Learned a lot about British ways.

Early walk, took a drive to Millets Farm. The roads were edged with hedges. New signage "give Way" & "Way out", carriage way is the road. Saw large square bails of straw. Arrived at Millets Farm, it was similar to our Huber's, but larger. Has the worlds largest maze, a market, restaurants, craft shop, garden shop, etc. The rain limited our visit. We did buy things at the market; pie, jams, sausages, wine and cheese. Enjoyed tasting British cheese, etc....

Day to rest, do laundry, and catch up on things with David, Sara & Justice. They have a nice home for the next year. Their furniture has not arrived, roughing it a little. Went to Shrivenham for a walk and dinner at "Prince of Wales". Great Pub, the bar keep, Eddie very funny. He says " beer is gift from god to Earth". Tried something different to eat; Steak liver pudding, similar to pot pie with beef and kidney and a great tasting sauce in a pastry set ...
