Lucky us! We scored another day in Broome. Spent the day playing footy on the beach, swimming and soaking up the sun. Went into the Tourist Info Centre to find out the condition of the road to Windjana Gorge and were told it was badly corrugated and basically in need of grading ASAP. Ok, so bearing in mind the expenses and hassles we had at the beginning of the trip we have decided that the Gibb River Road is just not going to happen for us at this point in time....

Hi all! We made a last-minute change to our itinerary and decided to stopover at Willare Bridge Roadhouse, with the idea of getting to Broome early the next morning.
