After our long day on the road yesterday we decided to be a bit more leisurely today. Breakfast is included here so we made our way to the restaurant for our 'tropical buffet'. The view from our table out over the pool and the bay was absolutely stunning. Takes your breath away and no mistake. Breakfast was pretty good too!

At the tour desk we booked ourselves a sail boat trip for tomorrow and then sat with our laptops in the lobby while doing a pile of laundry. The Wi-Fi here although free, is not so good which is a bit frustrating. On the plus side, I found AUD 20 in the washing machine so things are looking up! We walked the short distance into Airlie beach and did a bit of shopping, shoes for both of us and wine and water from the bottle shop.

Back at the hotel we walked along the Bicentennial walkway and soon came upon the marina and another fabulous view. We sat drinking wine and taking in the glorious view and had happy hour 2 for 1 pizzas as the sun went down. Back for a well-deserved early night.
