We set off early to the Octagon in the centre of Dunedin to soak up the atmosphere before the game. It was packed with supporters, both English and Argentinian, with flags and costumes in abundance. In spite of a very unfavourable weather forecast the day dawned bright and sunny and we decided to visit the Otago Peninsula, just a short drive out of Dunedin.
