The time is 5pm and we are sitting at Chep Lap Kok airport, drinking a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, and all set to go. Eighteen months of planning are behind us and this evening we are finally on our way. We set off from Hong Kong on our Air New Zealand flight to Auckland and then on to Dunedin, via Christchurch. New Zealand here we come!

Spent a lovely evening at a New Zealand Wine Dinner held at the FCC. The speaker was Jane Hunter from The Hunters Winery and, as well as enjoying a wonderful dinner of various NZ favourites, we sampled a selection of delicious New Zealand wines. What a wonderful way to get in the mood for our trip!
