After a needed nights sleep, we wanted to go and see the Giant Buddha on Lantau Island. We took the MTR to Tung Cgung and after having a subway for lunch, decided not to que for the glass bottom cable cars we took the number 23 bus to the Island. We are 7 hours ahead of UK time now which has thrown our sleeping patterns. Watched the lovely bones and new moon on the plane with free drinks, dinner & breakfast! After a teary morning we departed to the train station - its only 3 weeks! We got the train and a quick change over onto the tube - a long tube journey to Heathrow. We checked into the airport and went through security & wandered around the shops, had tea and we quickly boarded and it finally sank in that we were about to embark on our travels!
