So there was a huge miz up with the Oz bus at the transit centre in Hervey Bay. Luckily Vicky and I were on the bus along with a few guys that we met in Airlie Beach but unfortunatly due to 2 girls saying they were getting off but then deciding to stay on the bus until Rainbow Beach but didnt tell the driver, this meant that this guy Sam we had met couldnt get on. We felt awful for him cos we had all been waiting all day for the bus and he had to go back to the hostel and stay another night and wait again. So glad it wasnt us. So after all of that we finally got going 2 hours after we were supposed to. Vicky and I were going to pitch a tent in a campsite in Rainbow Beach but when we got there it was dark and we didnt fancy it so we checked into Dingos with the other guys.

Again there isnt much to do in Rainbow Beach but we had to stay here as the Oz bus stops overnight and we couldnt get on the next one so had to stay an extra night. On the day we were there we just wandered up the road and looked at the few shops and then in the afternoon us and the guys went to the beach and went in the sea. We all then decided to have a few drinks that night in the hostel so we went and got some goon and lemonade and spent the night on the balcony playing card games and drinking. Was a lot of fun however we needed to get up early for the bus the next day and i was pretty tipsy. Vicky had the right idea and went to bed early but i didnt! The next day it was absolutly chucking it down with rain and in the afternoon before there was a massive storm and hail. Great! The bus to Noosa left at 8:00am and gets there just after 10:00am.

We get to Noosa Transit Centre and the rain is still coming down and its not letting up. we put the waterproof covers on the bags and walk to the information centre to find a hostel. We plan just to stay here for 1 day as again not alot to do.
