We stopped briefly in Cali, the salsa capital of the world, on the way down to Colombia. The city was a lot nicer than Medellin but unfortunately we couldn't stay any longer than the night we had.

After arriving in the late afternoon we headed out to dinner and to see if we could find any dance action. We walked around for a bit and settled on a lovely Mexican restaurant. There wasn't too much going on in the area we were so we headed back to the hostel and to bed, for the first time in separate dorms, as we were quite tired after the bus. It wasn't till the next day that we found out how great the clubs were there if you stayed up late enough and knew where to go. Oh well. Pasto here we come.
