We ae in Jakarta at the moment which is a little bit better than some of the other places we've been in Inonesia-it's a bit cleaner and they have lots of shopping malls but we still get hassled a lot. We are in a little hotel that is very basic but has everything we need-apart from a sink which is proving to be a bit of a challenge! We also discovered that we have a peeping Tom next door-I was in the bathroom and looked up to see a face in thew hole in the wall (covered in a mozzie screen and opening to the room next door) which dissappeared when I screamed for Sam-Sam went round to have a few stern words after which the hole was soon covered up, but it was still pretty horrible. We complained to reception whose response was to sellotape a newspaper across the hole.

We tried to go out last night but ended up getting lost so came home after an hour and a half later, which may have been a good thing as we have both been a bit ill which we think might have been due to the tea or ice (both made from tap water).

We fly to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow, after which we hope to travel to Bangkok, then to Phnom Penh, then Siam Reap.

After eating up all of money and rather a lot of Sam's I've decided that I should probably head home and get back to work! I've changed my flight to 6th March and will start work again on 9th March, but Sam is going to stay out here for a bit longer to travel around asia a bit more.
