It´s our 6th and final day in the hostel as we head to the hotel for the start of our gap tour tomorrow. It´s meant to be the hottest day since we´ve been here so we´re about to head to Copacabana to make the most of it.

It´s our 5th day in Rio! Yesterday we managed to get up Corcacovado mountain to see the statue of `Christ the Redemeer´-it was amazing! The views were incredible and it was such a nice sunny day! Much better then the first time!!! There were quite a few nuns visiting too, and we saw one of them kill an insect...very random but it´s a bit ironic?! It´s our 3rd day in Rio! We are having a fab time so far! Yesterday we got up pretty early and may our way to Corcacova mountain to go up and see the statue of Christ the Reedemer, but about half way up it started to rain, and by the time we got to the top it was so rainy and windy that we could barely see 6ft in front of us! We could just about see the feet of the statue, but that was about it, and it seemed pretty dangerous to hang around on top of a mountain ...

We are all checked in to our hostel in Brazil! After a long flight it seems we were a little early for our check in, so we had a walk around Copa cabana, where Sam was stalked by a man wanting to clean his shoes and then following us down the road for money...but apart from that all is well!!! Aftre getting a bit lost on the way home we managed to walk around most of Rio too...good times!!!! The plan is to go up and see the statue tonight and hopefully a footbal...
