Hey Everyone!

We made it to New Zealand! We started off in Auckland for the first couple of days and stayed with Trudi (sam's family) we started off not having a clue what to do or where to go, but Trudi helped us plan our trip. We decided we needed a car to see the best bits and we scraped our idea of going to the south island. We went to the sky tower which was higher then the Sydney one! Justin was so scared because the lift had a glass floor and there were glass panels everywhere! He did manage to put his toe on the glass floor.

The next day we set off on our road trip, we drove to Tauranga first were we stayed the night, we wanted to swim with the dolphins in the morning the next day but it was cancelled because the winds were to high. So we drove to Rotorua, and checked out the thermal spa's. Because most of New Zealand is volcanic there are lots of hot springs and geysers this made a really nice hot pools to swim in, but it smelt of farts. (Because of the sulphur, not Justin) That evening we went to a buried village, it was buried because a near by volcano covered it with ash and lava killing most of the village, its set to go off again sometime soon....

Today we went white water rafting, and because were so extreme now we did a grade 5 which is the highest you can do. It has a 7 metre waterfall which we dropped over (we didn't fall out!) 14 rapids and 2 other waterfalls (3m & 2m) it was really good fun but very tiring. Check out the photo's!!
