Fashon Week in Paris- Getting to Paris was half the fun today. I bought a first class ticket today (2nd was sold out) and arrived in style just before 5pm in Paris. After checking with several hotels that were full I discovered it is Fashion Week here in Paris, so it took some walking and help from a kind hotel receptionist to find me somewhere to stay that was safe, but didn't break the budget. Germany Jump Point The flight for Ramstein, Germany took off at half past 12am and I was thrilled to get a seat...well three of them actually! Not only did the seven and a half hour flight to Europe only cost me $16.10, but I got an entire ROW to myself and I lifted the armrests and slept the entire way! FINALLY--- THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! I have spent months of saving, researching what to pack, where to go, what to see and I finally get to start! I have a small camera bag and 1 carry on bag that doubles as backpack or roll-aboard. I have spent hours deciding what I NEED and what I can do without to try to make my load as light as possible.
