Hello! Yesterday we headed into Washington where we visited Mr Obama at the White House and saw the Washington a Monument both were really cool! We then headed over to Arlington where we visited the cemetery and saw JFK's grave where he is buried with some of his family members. We saw the changing of the guard at the sight of the unknown solider which was very special. After visiting Arlington we headed into Georgetown for lunch which is a pretty hip place....

What a wonderful Christmas we had! Unfortunately there was so no snow but we had a fabulous day with lots of yummy food and great company! There were also some funny games and hilarious presents involved! We relaxed in the afternoon with 5 games of NBA on TV and also watching the first day of the Boxing Day test on Christmas Day! Another big today today ! We ventured into Baltimore and had a look at the harbour and the most amazing lolly soho and book shop I have ever seen! Tonight we went to our first NBA game between the Wizards and the Bulls in Washington, it was soooooooooo awesome and the atmosphere was just amazing! After the basketball we went and saw the Lincoln Memorial at night time, it was absolutely amazing! S&L

Today we made it to Maryland! We had a massive day! We started off the day shopping at the outlets where we walked straight into a shop with many fire arms, it was soooooooo weird! Hello from LA airport! At the moment we are waiting to board our flight to Washington! Today we went on a tour of Petco Park home to the San Diego Padres Baseball team, it was pretty cool! We got to go behind the scenes and see where the media sits, the away teams clubhouse and sit in the dug out!
