Ok so I have been very rubbish at keeping this up-to-date but I will try and be better in future
So far we have spent 3 weeks in Argentina going from one extreme to the next!!the 1stfew days were spent in the huge city of Beunos Aires where we did loads of sightseeing and squeezed in a La Boca game which was awesome!!
We then began heading down south to the lake district of Argentina, starting at a town called Bariloche which was stunning and we spent a few days there doing some trekking, visiting the Chocolate Museo and going for a day trip to the hippy convent of El Bolson!!
After Bariloche we headed further south into Patagonia, visting the welsh colony of Trevilyn and filling up of welsh tea and cakes on the way!!After a harrowing 40 hour journey on the ´Ruta 40´we spent acouple of days in the very small town of El Chalten where we trekked to the base camp of Fitz Roy and went to see some glaciers!!Our final Patagonia destination was El Calafate which is famous for its absolutley amazing glaciers which was definatley worth the effort!!
Having decided against the 80hr bus journey back up north we caught a plane to Igazu Falls which were just stunning!!we took a boat journey into the actual falls.....this involved getting absolutley soaked and then crusing down the river for a bit before getting a 4x4 though the jungle!!we didnt get to see a jaguar but we did manage to see a Tocan or 2!!
So now we have headed into Brazil and are literally about to start a 3 day trip into the Pantanal which are the wetlands of brazil and home to alligators, snakes and the like....and a million mossies!!!
Ill ty and update this blog more!!I promise!!
Hope everyone is well and please message with any news
Loads of love
