Sunday - This morning we headed to the Empire State Building to try and see the view. After running around exchanging a ticket for another ticket then security checks we did the virtual tour of New York which was nice. It mentioned the fallen towers and that the Empire was always going to be overtaken in height at some point but was standing proud to be a building built in the 1930's in a very short time frame where buildings today still take longer to build. ...

We had an early start this morning. Breakfast & on the bus by 7 for a visit to the Fort Niagara first up. Mike really enjoyed the stop. It's an old stone castle which was used as a fort in the battle between the British and the French. We hit the road about 8.30 from Hagerstown headed for Corning. Between the driver and the tour guide they were bickering which highway to take. We were almost going to offer our gps to them.
