We got into Lima at around 6ish collected our bags and headed for Loki! It's was in rush hour so there was mad gridlock and it took us about 45 minutes to get to Loki. We arrive at the ica bus stop at around 18.30 and grab a taxi to huacachina. Our taxi driver is a bit of a lad and sells us a wine tour on the way to our hostel. When we get to huacachina it's really nice. It's like they found an oasis in the middle of the desert and built a small town around the oasis. I arrived surprisingly fresh after the night bus, of the 10 hour journey I must have slept 9 of the hours. We check in and they have a room for us already so we dump our bags and bump into hammish and his girlfriend who were at our previous hostel. They tell us about the mirador tower which is a cheap alternative to see the nazca lines rather than getting a $100 plane ride over them. We decide to go there and see why there about.
