Hello family and friends. We are nearing the end of our trip and are counting down the days! We made it to Nairobi from Kigali on one glorious bus ride that had no delays, no combusting tires and THEY FED US... amazing. We spent one week at a backpackers and had many lazy days watching our newly purchased pirated dvds (40 in 1!) and went to a few markets and loaded up on all the souvenirs we've been waiting to buy. Needless to say my bag is rather heavy and bloat...

Bonjour tout le monde! We made it to Rwanda and trying to touch up on our french skills. Spent a few nights in Kampala before heading to beautiful Lake Bunyonyi where we stayed 2 nights on a secluded little island. Me and Abi almost died going white water rafting - pretty much 8 hours of constant near drownings. We really didn't know what we had signed up for. Class 5 rapids all the way - flipped 3 times and learned I could actually hold my breath for much longer...

Hey Everyone! It's been a while since our last entry but we're still alive and currently residing in Uganda! Met up with Steven back in Dar Es Salaam who had had a rough past few weeks, which involved camping with hippos and being robbed. We were happy to have the S back and we caught a bus up to Moshi. We spent 3 days waiting for the clouds to clear so we could see Kilimanjaro! Then it was on to Arusha where me and Chalsey did a 3 day Safari through Ngorogoro Cr...

MAMBO all. We finally left our beloved Nkhata Bay behind and ditched the pig in malawi as he did not want to join us in Zanzibar. We made it to Dar es Salaam on the train and got te cheapest safari ever. Went snorkelling today and got to swim with dolphins, eels and the like! Beautiful white sand beaches. Muslim popualtion so we've been expected to cover our shoulders and knees which sucks in 40 degrees! times up take care!

Still in Nkhata bay we've now sucessfully completed 1 week working on a shelter in the community and just have to level the floor and paint it next week! Hope everyone had a good easter - and HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY LAURA!! Don't have alot to report at the moment. It's mostly been an exceptionally lazy week full of swimming and all you can eat buffets. Were hoping to get on the move again next weekend catching minibuses to the border then the train from Mbeya to Dar ...
