Been in Bazas for 1 night after an eventful day yesterday! Car broke down and after lots of waiting around and broken french we have managed to get a hire car, leave the fiesta in Bordeaux until next Thursday to be fixed so we can carry on with our holiday! A lovely meal in the hotel last night with a few cocktails - today we are moving on to Toulouse where we have booked a little studio room with a kitchen - planning to do some washing and cook our own tea tonig...

Arrived in Paris with very little traffic problems (we were very surprised!). The hotel we stayed at back in December remembered us and gave us a room on the top floor with a little balcony overlooking the city for no extra charge! Been out to Notre dame and just getting ready to go to the Eiffel Tower this evening!

Just arrived at our first hotel, le Chateau d'etoges - really beautiful French castle and we got a bargain little attic room! Really hot weather, just sat out with a drink in the garden.

Made it to France! Stopped off at Mcdonalds (free wifi!) where Ryan thinks the server called him a moron in French because I left him to get his cheeseburger whilst I nipped to the loo and he couldn't understand her :-0 :-) Next stop the Chateau for tonight!
