Hello strangers....

We are currently working our way along the Great Ocean Road, which starts about a hour south of Melbourne along the coast. (Just think of the GOR like a windy road in Wales but without the sheep and more spectacular views... you get our drift!!)

We are about 3 hrs along the road at a cool seaside spot - Apollo Bay. We are in an amazing YHA eco-hostel, where its got sea views and amazing chillout rooms and comfy sofas, as well as loads of decking everywhere! The weather is bit wet at the moment, with us looking beautiful in our rain macs walking along the coast this morning.

A few days ago we stayed in Torquay (not the one near Exeter!) which is the home of surfing and had a huge retail park that was sufing brands only.... as you guessed we couldn't leave empty handed with Ruth sale shopping and the both of us buying a pair of boardies of course......

We are having a wicked time, still talking to each other hahah... and have met some cool people on the way, who have been giving us tips on where to go next. We have also been hob-nobbing with the stars, such as the folks from Neighbours...... That was back in Melbourne and was one of our best nights so far, drinking lots and our table not doing too good in the quiz, but they showed lots of classic clips on the big screen, bringing back school memories.

The lack of photos is due to many of the net cafes taking too long to upload piccies from the camera, so for the moment, stuff from our phones are giving you a taster of our trip.. Dont worry we will bore you all with every single pic when we get back.

Our times running short and our dollars are spent, so until next time, miss you all (but it does sound a tad grim over there with the dodgy weather you are having, shame hey.... )
