greetings from the sunshine everyone....

after a shocking 12 hr journey from Phi phi on the other side of thailand, we finally made it at 10pm at nite to Ko Pha Ngan. Here the weather is awesome and its absolutely roasting!!!.

We spent the first few days in the south of the island at Haad Rin. This is the backpacker party area of the island. Here we stayed at an ok hotel, but it had an awesome pool, so we spent a good few days in that. Then on the evenings, we would check out the shops and their fake (but good) merchandise. We checked out a number of bars and ruthie had some potent cocktails while i enjoyed the Thai whisky - Songserm & coke.

after a few days of that, we decided on a change and headed north on the isalnd via a longtail boat (it cost us 15 quid and a 40 min boat ride to get there!!) we arrived at Thong Pan Noi.

Wow!

This place was amazing, long sandy beach, blue sea and hardly any people. We found an amazing hut for a bargain price and bug free about 5 mins from the beach. So we have spent the last 3 days chilling out, and getting Thai massages (the proper ones of cpurse, not the naughty ones). Man do they hurt as first but after that you feel really relaxed!

Today is travel day, we are currently at the boat port, waiting to get a 4 hr boat and then a 12hr overnight sleeper train to Bangkok, its gonna be a long day & night....

3 days left of our adventure, we can't believe it. We are planning to shop and get some more souvenirs in these last few days.
