10 Days later....

Hey everyone, Thanks for all the messages you have posted and emails sent.

As you can tell form our lack of updates, we are having an awesome time. We have just checked in at our first hostel! we are in the centre of Sydney - 5 mins from Darling Harbour. We have been for the best evening stroll around Circular Quay, Sunsetting over the bridge and the Opera house... schweeet....

Happy new year, everyone, you will be glad to know we have burnt got a little redness from the aussie sunshine and our freckles are appearing :)

We had the best new years nite, with a cool spot by the bridge (Campbells Cove for those in the know) - make sure you check out the pics! In front of our spot was Richard Bransons boat on which Paris Hilton was staying (Ruth and other were eagerly looking for her - thanks for the binoculars mom!)

So after we told Paris to move out the way, we headed to The Rocks, where the atmosphere was really cool. Then we ended up walking over the Sydney harbour bridge at 1am in the morning, looking over the city, amazing views. We both had a great evening.

A few days after that, we had a day out with aunt Pauline and her neighbours (they all say hi to mom, dad and nan - ad) on a pontoon boat. It was a proper 'aussie' day out, glorious sunshine, some freshwater swimming and we also had our first fishing date - which was exciting. No fish this time but we will be back. On the boats we had beers and a bbq as well (no shrimps thou)

Also done the ferry to Manly with our fish and chips on the beach (with a spot of rain) but that was a great day and we also visited Bondi yesterday.

Can't write much more, our credit is running out, but we are off to Melbourne on Weds (10th jan) for the neighbours tour :)

We will try and update again soon when we have more pics (we have loads, but don't want to bore you). miss everyone loads, keep posting the message.
