The time is going so fast! It is already a month ago since I left home. The cycling is going easier and easier. And I see a lot of nice things.

Saturday I went to a very nice and big yarn store, because I want a flag of every country I visit and they are really hard to find in a normal size, so I decided to crochet them by myself. I just finished the flag of France, and started the one of Belgium.

Sunday I cycled along the river Vendée and the canal between La Rochelle and Marans.

On Monday I cycled along a nice path to the centre of La Rochelle what Claire and Romain had pointed out to me and later I followed the Vélodyssée all the way to Rochefort. The next day I visited the boat where Alice had worked on for three months. And later that day I cycled to Boyardville to see Fort Boyard again (also on Monday), but this time I was more close to it. And after that I cycled through a forest of Oléron Island, maybe not completely the way I should, but the cyclepaths always disappear in France.

The weather is also getting better. On Saturday there was so much sun I zipped of the bottom part of my pants and burned the skin of my arms a little bit. On Sunday it drizzled in the morning and rained in the afternoon, but luckily I had a nice shower when I arrived in La Rochelle. Monday started with a little bit drizzle, but later there was sun. And Tuesday and today are also sunny.

On Sunday I had some stress, because when I arrived at the house of Claire and Romain, I got a message from Christine in Marennes that she was sick and not able to host me. So when I got the wifi access I send some messages to couchsurfers and warmshowers if they could host me the next day and luckily Alex in Rochefort responded pretty fast and I was happy again. And as a surprise Alex and Alice took me to their Derby Skate training Monday. I was really bad at it in the beginning, but at the end I was pretty stable on the rollerskates. I liked it!

And some facts:

I cycled 75,9 km on Saturday, 64,9 km on Sunday, 60,7 km on Monday, 76,4 km on Tuesday and today nothing. :D

I stayed with Isabelle in Fontenay le Comte on Saturday, Claire and Romain in La Rochelle on Sunday, Alex and Alice in Rochefort on Monday and with Eric in La Brée les Bains on Oléron Island on Tuesday and Wednesday.
