I have just landed and it is 6 a.m. in Minsk. the worst thing happened. someone stole my bags. i don't know who it was but he or she took my carry on. right away I tried to find it. i looked around for 30 minutes. after looking I went to go tell someone that worked at the airport. i found this really tall man and I asked him my bags were stolen. luckily he knew English and told everyone about my situation. the airport spent 1 hour looking for my bag but they had no luck. in the end they gave me 10' 000 airline miles. I was so glad that i had a bag in the baggage claim. it had all of my clothes in it so I didn't need to go buy some. Minsk is a great city but i was tired up big cities, so I decided to go to a small town called Nizok. it is about an 2 hour drive away from Minsk. when I got my rental car we started right away to get there. the ride was really boring for me but the outdoors was amazing. When i finally got there it was around 10 40. I went to go get some breakfast because i was starving. after breakfast I wanted to play some soccer. i found a cool small park near the restaurant. i got my pump and pumped up my soccer ball and played for about 1 hour. After that i decided that i needed to go find a hotel. I was still really mad about my bag incident but i was trying to forget about it. I found a good hotel call. it was a __ star (and it had a big pool). right as I check in I saw my old friend form Atlanta. his name was ben. we chatted for 15 min and then we decided to go hang out at a coffe shop. there we caught up on things like how's life and stuff like that. he was here for a tour of Belarus and he then went to go finish his tour of the rest of Belarus. it was fun hanging out with him. so after all of that i was then going to go on a walk since it was a really good day. i had to go on a really long walk because it was just a great day. by the time i finished it was 5 30 and it was about time for dinner. i went to a small bar. although the food was great the people there were ignorant. i have about 2 weeks left in my travels and I have had a lot of fun. today wasn't the best day for me but overall the whole European travels have been great. i hope to see my friends from school and family again soon.
