Yay Sydney! We awoke to gorgeous sunshine...finally!! We hopped straight out of bed and down to our delish (included!) breakfast, yum. We walked staright into the centre - we are staying in Kings Cross a very backpackerish area..ie a bit dodge! - we walked through the incredible botanical gardens and down to mrs maquaries point to get those postcard views on the harbour bridge and opera house. We then walked round to the opera house, taking lots of piccies along ...

Yes! We finally arrived in Sydney this evening at about 7.30pm after a 12 hour bus journey from Byron Bay...it was so long and uncomfortable! Very excited to be in this fabulous city, we drove over the Harbour Bridge and saw the Opera House all lit up and looking amazing! Can't wait to go exploring tomorrow around the city! Bed time!

A very interesting two days in hippie town Byron Bay! It unfortunately rained most of the time, but Byron has fantastic nightlife so we made the most of our nights and chilled out during the day, just investigating the area! The main area is sort of all on one street which is great fun, very similar to Airlie Beach. We noticed straight away that it was full of hippies and surfers. This was a bit strange as the area is so expensive! Our hostel (nomads) was very ni...
