We went for a tour on on an open top double decker bus. The tour went through the city and over the bridge with the tour guide pointing out lots of interesting facts. Like - the colour of the bridge is International red - the undercoat initially chosen. The army and the navy wanted the bridge painted black and yellow, or orange. But the colour has always remained a muted red.
