Wed 30th we went snorkeling on the great barrier reef, it was rubbish, saw some fish, a bit of coral...boring! Not really,it was incredible,amazing,fantastic,stupendous, words or photos cant describe how brilliant it was. It took about 90mins to get out to the reef, the view from on top of the water was pretty special in itself. As soon as we got there we saw a turtle on the surface. We got all our gear on, yes i know we look like idiots in our stupid blue stinger suits but its a good job we did coz we saw a few jellyfish. The colours of the coral and fish was mind blowing,so beautiful,we saw parrot fish,big puffer fish,moray eels the list is endless, we even found nemo. On top of that we saw and swam with a green turtle which was so cool! The only thing we didnt see was a reef shark,someone else on the boat saw one but we couldnt spot any. They put on a good feed for us at lunch while we moved to another spot on the reef where we saw more different coral and fish, we splashed around for a couple more hours then headed back to Cairns.
