After a brief scare over ticket bookings I am on my way. Next stop shanghai. No one sitting next to me on the plane yet. Don't know if I have to pay for drinks on this leg?? I have money. What is it with Chinese and carry on luggage?

2 days left till I go. Pretty excited. Have been perusing bikes for sale in Germany and making last min plans. Have been looking at good riding in Europe, and it would seem that I need to plan on spending longer in the alps (weather permitting).

Getting ready to go. Leave for shanghai on 24th. Still haven't booked accommodation for my connections. Won 800 bucks on the ponies last night so might have to upgrade my hotel plans. Trying to travel light. Have to fit all my crap on a motorcycle.
