The next morning we take the bumpy road to Siem Reap. We stop for a snack:
Cata's choice: deep fried Tarantula and Crickets
Rovi's choice: sundried bananas and fresh pineapple

We get to the Angkor Wat Temple right on time for sunset. Not very impressed though because of the huge amount of people. The sunrise next day was very cloudy,so again, not what we woke up for at 5 am...:(

But still, the day was great! We had a long, hot, humid & dusty temple run until 2 pm when we shifted to chillax mode: powernap, a good swim on the roofdeck pool and party at a cambodian family. They cooked for us and we brought drinks and cake, had dinner under the stars and a nice chat. The cake disappeared the moment the 10 kids saw it, they were so happy to share it and kept lighting candles and blowing them off. They were so cute. Lovely evening with adorable people.
