So we landed in Wellington, picked up the hire car and drove to Lower Hutt in the Hutt Valley. Bought a cheap camouflage tent which was definately worth what we paid for it, so ended up sleeping in the car that night in the campsite!:) However, we did manage to fit in some Lord of the Rings locations before bedtime! Well we made it to New Zealand, had the most amazing view on the way in, check out the pics to see! Picked up our hire car, a Suburu Forester, not the Nissan X-trail we were expecting but still pretty sweet!:) So, off on our Lord of the Rings journey we go!

Hello all, weve had a busy last few days. Went around the blue mountains and the 3 sisters which was amazing! Took a trip to the Reptile park, the inside tour of the opera house was intense! We even went to the minus 5 bar again, it was minus 16C inside! Really really cold. So we are in the airport now, checked in and ready to go, New Zealand awaits and our 4x4 adventure! Well well, its been a while since our last update so we will try and remember everything! Here goes.... We picked Mike up at 6:30 a.m on the 12th December, we were staying in a cool hostel in central sydney called WAKE UP! Staying in a 4 bed dorm. Hello! Well, since we last updated weve been very busy! Picked Vik up on 1st December after we slept in a car park, which wasnt as bad as it sounds! Drove to Gosford to stay with Marie and Malcolm, my mums cousin! And theyve got these things... called beds!.. and toilets! After having to pee in the van or public toilets for 3 months its great here! haha. Bought a 7 day pass for the train, it takes 90 mins to get into sydney so its good value at about 20 pounds!...
