Having complete the long flight to Perth yesterday we set off North to Cervantes on the Indian Ocean. On the way we stopped at the pinnacles national park. These are strange rocks sticking up through the sand. It was very hot walking around and fascinating. Cervantes is a small town right on the ocean and already as we go north it is feeling very remote. Yesterday a lorry driver died in Western Australia after his truck broke down and he set off on foot to get help before collapsing in the heat.
