Ohoh, skydive! And you survived! I thought about the same thing a couple of hours ago when I left Australia, even without parachute... Standing at Singapore airport, will be back in Swe in 25 hrs... Well, that's life... Enjoy the rest of your trip, me and caroline will probably show up on your doorstep one day. Take care and keep on rocking!
Brigit
hi ross,
i saw the photos and i didn't like it everything you said. Especially the words: women know your place!
I hope it was a joke. Jantine cooks very well, but she also likes it when somebody else makes her cooks for her.
Hint hint!
have a nice trip and see you (on the photo's)
greetings,
brigit (friend of jantine)

Bulgy! Been an age i know but finally i discover you have not one but two websites, got to keep it short as in shrewsbury library and big fat psycho talking absolute crap about ipods next to me. The shire is crap and selling optical lenses to opticians at mo in kidderminster but i'm sure that idea to make my millions is not far away. Will keep an eye at website now i've found it. Hope you are well and still enjoying yourself, it's minus 2 and snowing here so every frigger is hibernating. Laters dude. P.s. Who's Trish?

New Zealand Update...
So a quick update for you all....Life is moving along really well, and after a few minor car problems around QueenstownJan and I headed over, through and around the Southern Alps and met up with some more roaming Europeans and are now travelling in a convoy of three vehicles. Two german girls (Lena and Judith) an Austrian guy, Martin (and his alta ego, Paul) and a Swedish guy, Daniel, who I first met in Perth and also saw again in Brisbane......small world eh!
So we've just spent a week travelling up the west coast and camping out in the wild and now after Abel Tasman National Park we're back in civilization in Nelson. We are all setting sail for the North Island in 2 days and have got a rough plan of where we are heading before going to Auckland and getting a few weeks work hopefully. More pictures soon, bye for now......sweet as!!
Rhiannon

May i just say Ross what a cool website you have here, and very good, jealous-making piccies! which were confusing...snow and shorts and t-shirt....a contradiction...but then Jan explained it was hot, but why doesn't the snow melt?! Hope it all goes alrighty with the car tomorrow!!! keep having fun as i am sure u will do!! Rhiannon xxx

SCUM.......... I am sooooooo JEALOUS!!!!! Not surprisingly I haven't got a job yet so all I do is sit about waiting for your photos to arrive. Glad to see that you can finally get a tent with out someone saying "I don't want to camp... but if I must". By the way I love the car.

Saskia
Hi Ross,
I am Saskia a friend of Jantine. Nice site you got here. It's also nice to see some more photo's of Jantine in Asia and New Zealand, although Jantine's eyes are closed for half of the pictures (Jantine how much have you been drinking??? especially in Thailand). It's nice to know she's got some male company to watch out over her... i guess... I hope everything will work out well for you with the weather, the car and the tent. Anyway enjoy your trip and adventures together or alone en Jantine: DOE GEEN DINGEN DIE IK OOK NIET ZOU DOEN! -X- Sas

Stop winging and jump out of a plane!!!! Best thing you ll ever do - make sure you pay extra for the extra height, worth every cent - also if you go high enough you can't see to much on exiting = less scary! I m still stuck in Sydney making my way in the seedy Kings Cross area - haven't yet decided to pimp out my body but it's on the cards if finances continue to plumit. So lets see some pics of Middle Earth then.......have you met any Uruk Hai on your travels - a cruel race.......I tell you what there's a couple of Uruk Hai lookalikes hanging around the street corners here!! Vile....
On a happier note Zara is coming to Sydney and possibly Nick, just need you and Al (i deficate in hostel sinks) for a new years reunion - however we shall raise a XXXX in your name, take a brief moment to contemplate your whereabouts and then get stuck in!
For those who know Nick a quick round of applause for the dopey lankey Canadian for "finishing the job with Hilary (palace hostel receptionist)" God Bless you man!!
Take care buddy - hope your motor holds out
You're Mountain Climbing Hobit
South Island going great so far. After a few days looking for a cheap car that had both exhaust and windscreen attached, me and my Dutch travel companion (Jantine) bought a Nissan Bluebird for just 520 quid! So we hit the road to Lake Tekapo, followed by Mount Cook, which included a free tent upgrade, and then to Dunedin with a few penguins thrown in for good messure on the way. I'm still thinking about s***ting my pants on the South Island with a skydive over Queenstown but may put off the inevitable until Lake Taupo on the North Island....I'll let you all know as soon as I do....

Have fun in New Zealand! Will Jan be there too? I'm looking forward to the pictures. Be careful of the sheep! My summer plans are slowly comming together. One thing that is for certain is that I land in Bangkok on 1 June. So if you're in the area, we'll have to meet up. Otherwise, we can meet up in England in July. Happy travels!
