We were back on the greyhound bus at 8.30am for a short journey to Surfers Paradise, a skyrise city directly on the beach. We couldnt check in straight away so we went for a little work around and shecked out the town centre. Once we checked in we headed out properly and relaxed on the beach for the rest of the day as it was super hot! We went back into town in the evening for tea and it was alive with people and all sorts of crazy street acts. We also booked some tickets to go to Wet and Wild water park for the following day. We were up very early that morning to try and beat the queues but turns out we were up too early as we forgot to adjust our watches when we entered Queensland as its an hour ahead of NSW. Just goes to show how crazily big Australia is! We spent nearly 12 hours at the water park because we had that much fun, there were so many slides and all contraptions. In the evening we watched a film by the wave pool under the stars which was a cool experience.

The next day we left Surfers Paradise and headed to Brisbane which was another short journey thqankgod! We went straight out and searched for a suitcase as mine had broke :( , we also walked over the river to a place called southbank which was a cool place and it had a manmade artificial beach. As the weather was again roasting we spent the day cooling off there. We pretty much did the same the next day as there wasnt much to do in Brisbane its just another big city and we are pretty tired of those. But in the evening we went over to a friend of mines skyrise flat, Ashley who was my flatmate in uni who is coaching cricket in oz. We had a good catch up over a few beers and enjoyed the views from his amazing apartment 37 stories up! On the way home we decided to get yet another dominos pizza which turned into an epic quest as we got wildly lost haha.

The next day we were off on our travels again to a place abit further up the coast called Noosa where we stayed for the next 3 nights.
