We all watched tensely as the man with the keys approached the gate. He slowly put the key in the lock, twisted the key and... RUN!! RUN!! The race had started!
The day had started with an early wake - 4:30 - but we weren't tired. We had a big day coming, and we were all excited. We checked out of our hotel and drove out of Strasbourg to a nearby town called Ettenheim. It was about 6:00 when we arrived but it was already very light. We had a wonderful walk around the town and stopped for breakfast in the bakery. After our short visit in Ettenhein we went on to possibly the best, the greatest theme park in the world, EUROPA PARK! We were there an hour before it opened, but there was still plenty of people waiting. Sure enough quite quickly an hour had almost passed. We were in the very front of the crowd and I had a look over behind me to see how many people there were, and WOW. That's a lot of people! Then we all watched tensely as the man with the keys approached the gate. He slowly put the key in the lock, twisted the key and... RUN!! RUN!! The race had started! Everyone was running to get in front of the line in their favourite ride. Our choice was Woden the Timber Coaster, which we weren't able to get on last time because of the long lines. We had to run across the whole park, which was quite a distance!
Europa Park is incredible. Being built in Germany, it was well made, taken really good care of and was always in excellent condition. This was our second time here and it was still as amazing and awesome.
