AGH! Actually, this is kind of relaxing...
We went to a town called Pazin, and Dad had a surprise for us. I tried to run through the things in my head it might be; a waterpark, diving centre, rollercoaster, etc. But I didn't expect this. Dad had brought us to a 500m long flying-fox, across the chasm that inspired Jules Verne to write one of his books. And it was BIG. It had 2 flying foxes that were strung across the chasm. Finally it came the time when I had to walk out on to the ledge and get ready to jump. I was strapped in, buckled up, and ready to go.
I didn't really feel nervous at all, because I've been on loads of flying-foxes before at scout camps and other things. So I let go of the support rope and enjoyed the view. Underneath me was a lush forest with a little creek, and an enormous cliff with an old castle on the edge. It was really run and I had a great time.
Bye! Roman
