Today was a really early start for us - especially Gav who doesn't tend to surface from his tent until late. Let's just say he's usually the last one out and packed! Gav managed to rise around 5am to give surfing a go while Ros and Pol slept (not so well because it was cold) on. Gav also managed to lose his GoPro in the surf. It would have been great to stay another night to check out the surrounding bush and water lands but we had dolphin diving booked in at 1pm in Mornington Peninsula. After leaving a little later than panned, we managed to make it to the charter boat with 15 mins to spare. Lucky. We kitted up in wetsuits and Pol with quells and we're on out way out into the harbour in search of dolphin pods. The water was freezing - Pol managed one water entry only! Ros and Gav managed multiple, infant they were in it til the end. A bit of lunch and it was to Melbourne we rode. Home away from home for Ros and a very awesome abode for Gav and Pol. Here is where we will spend Christmas.
