lor wow the first message i hope? everything sounds amazing! i admit i am very jealous of the weather! its been freezing cold and rainy here for ages! not sure whether i am supposed to comment on your trip or whats going on with me so ill attempt to do both! got a week off this week so i can finally have a bit of a relax. this course is immense. not too difficult but you have to do so much! miss one hour and it takes 3 to catch up so ive been avoiding that! (plus i probably paid about £100 for that hour!) got 2 new housemates too. my landlord said they were students but he LIED! one of them, fagan, is a 52 carribbean man who has 5 wifes and is a nurse. he likes to strut around in his towel and make little screams that i think are meant to be singing. then theres trevor, also in his 50s, who's girlfriend Pauline is a serious chain smoker. i have no idea what he does but he said to me yesterday that 'one of my contacts that i meet behind the Broadmarsh...' Because you have no idea what the Broadmarsh is i will tell you that its a shopping centre and the back of it is pretty much an alley. so if i end up dead through gunshots after a gang drug war you know who is to blame! hmm, me with druggies and you with prossies, we are going up in the world! other than that i have just been pretty much going to the pub with some of my group most nights after uni. its the best way to chill(especially when beers are £1 or £1.25!) i tend to hang out with the boys, infact they have made me one of the 'boys' now which im not sure is an honour or an insult. i think this has caused some issues with the other girls tho cos they all meet up last night and when i saw them all (i went out with another friend) they were doing that thing 'ohhh....laura....hey.....what are you doing here?'. hmm, not inviting me eh? sneaky! i know for a fact that one of them is in love with one of the boys so id like to think they are all just jealous! anyway sorry, bit of a ramble there... lets talk about your trip (the main point of this blog!) do you know any thai yet? i cant speak a word so you will have to put up a few everyday and slowly teach us! do they not have noodels as well? that may be more exciting than rice! i dont even like rice so i would have to be a carnivore. did you take any english snacks? i was going to say something like baked beans but you dont like them so never mind! ro if i had jerry springer on tap i would not be moaning! sounds like heaven, jerry springer, the sun and cute babies! are any as cute as maddox? anyway better go, cant believe i wrote so much! well hopefully this will be some entertainment! glad you are having a good time. lots of love! lor. x
