I left Siem Reap yesterday about 7.30am and had a really long day travelling, not arriving in Sihanoukville on the south coast until 7pm. The bus ride itself was fairly uninteresting, and apart from a two hour wait in Phnom Penh for the connecting bus, it went without a hitch. Yesterday was my last day of school, and as it was Chinese New Year I brought coloured paper and glitter glue into school so we could make Chinese lanterns. This week we have had 11 new volunteers from Britain, Germany, Norway and the Netherlands. Only half of them have been able to fit in the volunteer house whilst the remainder are at a guest house which isn't great as it always means they don't get to integrate so well.
