Day 124 Chiang Mai- Pai We checked out of our GH, at just gone 9am, to arrange our transportation to Pai. Day 122 Chiang Rai- Chiang Mai Having discussed that we might stay one more night in Chiang Rai due to Emma’s stomach problems, she decided to change her mind and be a big brave shoulder, and take the three hour bus journey to Chiang Mai. Day 120 Luang Prabang – Chiang Rai A lazy start and then we checked out of our guesthouse. We had a baguette again for breaki. Day 117 Having booked our supposed VIP bus the day before, we headed to the bus station on our free pick-up. The bus was exactly the most glamorous, thus making for an interesting seven hour journey. Day 112 Our bus left from the bus station in Vientiane at 9:30 and was pretty comfy despite it’s beat up appearance. Like all bus drivers, he drove like an absolute nutter, which meant that we made it into Vang Vieng in good time. The Laos countryside is stunning, with big mountains, and lush forests.
