Cheddar for the day.

I needed a bit of a think back as I have not been writing my blog for some time. But Pippa and I along with Katharine went to Cheddar for lunch with Pippa's Aunt and Uncle and the lovely Rosie fresh back from living in France. It was the day after John's birthday so the get together with Alice was significant.

We had a lovely lunch with cabbage and yeast (a very nice French delicacy), roast vege and chocolate mousse to die for, then went for a walk up over the hills behind the house. In the evening we drove up through the Cheddar Gorge and launched another balloon for John.

This time Alice had the honour of sending the balloon into the air and as it was a still clear night we were able to watch it for quite some time before the flame went out.

Then back to Culmstock in the evening.
