After leaving Sydney at 7am, I arrived in Wilcannia at 9.30pm. My friend Sam was suppose to pick me up from the bus stop, but when I arrived she wasn't there. My phone was out of signal, but the bus driver very kindly let me use his phone to try and contact her, I couldn't get through to her mobile either, so I tried the landline, a guy answered and told me Sam's car had broken down, and her boss was on his way to pick me up. A few women were at the bus stop picking a fiend up and they said they would wait with me until he arrived. Half hour later and he arrived, another hour and a half drive and we finally find Sam. Another hour and a half drive and we arrive at their station, where ill be staying for a few days. Not a bad start to my outback life.!!
