So back at the end of july I flew back down to wet and rainy Sydney, (at that time I hear you lot at home were having a heat wave!) so surfing at bondi was out of the question, just spent a few days there catching up with some mates and going to see a Ben Elton stand up show, corr he is getting on a bit!, pretty funny but no Peter Kay ; ) Well I wasnt out of the sun for long!, Next I flew on to Bali, and also managed to pick up Tonsillitus on route, (again! for a change!) So I took it pretty easy there staying in a hotel rather than a hostel, got myself a room, with on suite, balcony, swimming pool air con, all for about a fiver a night!, not bad huh ; ) Bali was a pretty cool place, though a bit of an Austrailian ibiza, but with less sangria, and more fish bowls! The place is notible rather quite, due to the terrorist attacks there over the last few years, which is a real shame, and when speaking to the locals they seem to think a tsunami is going to hit them soon too, Indonisia is definatly a country down on its luck at the mo.
